Bear Creek Lodge's Basic Wedding Package for 2010/2011

Indoor capacity up to 125 guests. Outdoor capacity over 250 guests.
Package includes the facility rental fee for the day of event, the Bridal Suite overnight for the couple, and a dressing room for the groomsmen.
Catering costs are included for the first 100 guests in the Basic Wedding Package.
See Banquet Menus #1 - #3 on this page. A minimum $22/person fee applies for extra guests.
Food purchases (except cake) and alcohol (beer, wine, and champagne only) must be through the lodge.
Coffee, punch, and water service are included with the catering cost.
White linens for the lodge and 100 chairs for the garden are included.
Overnight accommodations with farewell breakfast or two night destination packages with rehearsal dinner are available. An onsite visit is suggested for event planning.
Cost: $3500 plus gratuity and sales tax on the event. A $1000 nonrefundable deposit is required to book an event. Please call the lodge for details (509-238-9114).

Weddings at Bear Creek Lodge

Bear Creek Lodge is located on 106 acres at the entrance to Mt. Spokane State Park. We offer a beautiful outdoor venue with an indoor backup in the case of inclement weather. Our goal is to provide our guests with a classic Northwest-style lodge wedding.

The Garden will seat over 200 guests in a private, intimate setting. Spring flowers are multi-colored crocus, tulips, and daffodils. Summer brings out the daisies and alyssum. The groom and minister usually wait in Hidden Garden as the bride makes her staircase entrance. Couples say their vows on the Wedding Stone, and have their first dance on the deck outside the lodge.

Our overnight wedding package includes:

Lodge rental for the day or evening.
Lodge accommodations for up to 36 people.
RV Campsites are available for $22 per night
(winter excluded).

Afternoon weddings in the garden are suggested for late April, May, early June, late September and October. Evenings during the summer are comfortably cool, and occasionally require a light jacket. September and October weddings catch the beatiful fall colors. Each season is special at Bear Creek Lodge.

Winter Weddings At The Lodge

Winters are the busy season at the lodge. Golden fires dancing in the two stone fireplaces with a snowy wonderland outside, make a beautiful backdrop to exchange vows. Couples rent the entire lodge for Friday night or the entire weekend so their families and friends can enjoy skiing, snowmobiling, and snow tubing during their stay on the mountain.

From the winter months, we book evening weddings on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays. This popular package (November - February) includes two nights of lodging, the rehearsal dinner for up to 25 guests (menu negotiated with lodge), and breakfast for 25 on Saturday morning. Private time is from 6 PM one evening until 8 AM the next morning. The ceremony is usually held around 7:30 PM. Please call the lodge and ask for Sam in "Group Sales" to coordinate your event and prepare a fun winter wedding package.

For couples on a tight budget, please consider the Friday Night Package described at the top of this page. Another option is to hold your event on a Monday or Tuesday. The Mt. Spokane Ski Resort is closed on these days, and the mountain is generally quiet and peaceful. Small winter weddings are popular early in the week because the lodge is empty, and it is less expensive to arrange an intimate event.
