During summer, meet a friend for a drink on the deck in The Garden. This new addition to the lodge was completed in 2003, and is an ideal escape from summer's heat. The Garden is always 12 to 15 degrees cooler than Spokane. Experience a different way of doing dinner tonight.

Stop by the lodge after your day on the mountain. Or, better yet, become a Wednesday night regular. Karen serves her $8.95 dinners every Wedneday from 5 - 9 PM. That night, the house specialty is country-style barbecued pork ribs - slow cooked and seasoned just right. The flavor might even remind you of a barbecue shack in North Carolina - the home of the recipe. Not a pork fan? Grilled chicken is also available, or Karen may have another special meal planned for the evening. You won't know unless you make the drive to Bear Creek Lodge. Not hungry? Just stop by and socialize "where the mountain meets".
 The
lounge is spacious and separated from the restaurant. It features forty domestic, premium, and imported beers, microbrews, and malts. Wine selection includes Stone Cellars, McMannis, Latah Creek, Rex Goliath and Montes. The lodge is not permitted for hard alcohol, and "brown bagging" is not tolerated.
There is a big screen for watching the news or sports. Enjoy a game of pool with your friends, or just
sit by the window and overlook the hillside down to the creek. Deer, turkey, and the occasional moose often wander through the grounds. During winter, send the kids to the snowtubing hill, then share a bottle of wine with a loved one... and plan that itimate getaway to Mount Spokane.
